A room looks freshly painted when the edges are straight and the colour is even. That comes from the prep: furniture moved and covered, floors protected, holes and cracks filled, and the line where the wall meets the ceiling and trim cut in by hand.

Nashville summers are hot and humid, and winters freeze and thaw. Paint that lasts outside is put on a clean, sound surface: dirt and mildew washed off, loose paint scraped, gaps sealed and bare wood primed.
